Privacy Policy
Last updated: 18 October 2026
This page explains what personal data bitkharibi.com collects, why, how long it is kept and what rights you have. We collect as little as possible: the site has no accounts, no shop and no newsletter.
Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is Father Seraphim Bit-Kharibi, Monastery of the Thirteen Assyrian Fathers, Kanda, Georgia.
For any privacy question or request, write to bitkharibi@gmail.com.
Concert booking requests
When you send the booking form we receive your name, email address, organization, location, preferred date, your message and the language of the page you used.
We use this data only to answer your request and to organize a possible concert. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
The request is stored in our database and forwarded to our email inbox. We keep it as long as needed to handle it and for no more than 24 months after our last contact, unless a concert agreement requires us to keep it longer.
Website statistics (Google Analytics 4)
With your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited, from which kind of device and approximate location, and which buttons are used (for example opening the booking form, or links to tickets and music). We never send your name, email address or message to Google Analytics.
If you refuse, Google Analytics sets no cookies; Google tags may still send signals without identifiers, which Google uses only to estimate aggregate statistics.
Statistics are kept for 14 months. You can withdraw your consent at any time through "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.
Map
The footer shows an embedded Google Maps map. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's own privacy policy.
Service providers and transfers
We rely on providers that process data on our behalf: Vercel (website hosting, which keeps technical logs such as IP addresses for security), Supabase (database), Resend (email delivery) and Google (Gmail inbox, Analytics, Maps).
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting what was done before.
Write to bitkharibi@gmail.com; we will answer within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example the one in the country where you live or, in Georgia, the Personal Data Protection Service.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy when the site or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
